Enjoy Lighting Review/Giveaway--Closed

I received two flame less candles from Enjoy Lighting to review. I was happy to review these especially for our house because candles are such a pain in a lot of ways. I hate when candles burn down uneven, or smoke when you blow them out and having animals candles can be very dangerous. This is where these flame less candles come in to play very well because if you like the look of candles without all the fuss then check these out. They even look so cool when turned on cause from a distance you would think it is real because it even flickers like real candles. These are made out of candles as well so they look very real the only thing that isn't is where it is battery operated and has a light on top instead of a wick. These are much safer around kids and animals and even unlike real candles, safe to leave lit all night long or when your away from home. I think our household will probably switch over to nothing but flame less candles for many of these reasons I mentioned. These are very nice and stylish and look good in any home. What kind of vaccines do adults need?

Some may ask: What kind of vaccines do adults need?
Adults sometimes mistakenly think that immunizations are something they only have to worry about for their children. But immunizations can also prevent a number of serious adult diseases. Some vaccines given in childhood will continue to protect people throughout their lives, immunity from certain vaccines wanes with time, and booster shots may be necessary. Also, new vaccines have been developed for adults, and some adults were never fully vaccinated as children.

What vaccines should you get? All adults should be immunized against a number of specific diseases. And high-risk people, such as those with immune deficiencies or those with specific risk exposures (such as veterinarians), may need additional vaccinations. Here is a list of vaccines that adults should consider getting:

· Pneumonia vaccine: Pneumonia is a serious infection, and can be fatal. The pneumonia vaccine protects against many strains of the pneumococcus bacteria. All adults over 65, and younger people who are at high risk of getting pneumonia, should get this vaccine. Those at high risk include people with diabetes, heart and lung disease, liver failure, and immune suppression. If you get this vaccine before age 65, you should get another dose when you turn 65.

· Influenza vaccine: The influenza (flu) vaccine is recommended yearly for everyone over age 50, and for younger people who are at higher risk of complications from the flu, such as people with heart and lung disease, diabetes and other chronic illnesses. It is also recommended for people, such as healthcare workers, who might give the flu to high-risk people.

· Tetanus and diphtheria vaccine: Tetanus is a wound infection; diphtheria is an acute respiratory illness. Both are preventable. Boosters every 10 years are recommended for all adults who received the primary series in childhood.

· Pertussis vaccine: Pertussis (whooping cough) causes a severe lung infection. Almost all children are immunized against pertussis, but the protection does not appear to last into adulthood. Recently, a booster vaccine for adults has been developed to extend our immunity for a longer time. The vaccine is combined with tetanus booster and is known as Tdap.

· Herpes Zoster (shingles) vaccine: Shingles is a painful, blistering rash caused by reactivation of the chickenpox (varicella-zoster) virus. The virus can stay dormant in anyone who previously had chickenpox, and then reappear as painful shingles. It is most common among people over 50 and those with weak immune systems. This new vaccine cuts the chance of getting shingles by 50%, and those who get shingles after the vaccination usually get a milder case. This vaccine is recommended for people age 60 or older. Unfortunately, if you have a weakened immune system (for example, due to HIV/AIDS), you should not get this vaccine. A weakened live virus vaccine, such as the herpes zoster vaccine, could lead to a more widespread rash or severe chickenpox-like disease if you are immunosuppressed.

· Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine: A blood test can be done to check for evidence of immunity to chickenpox. All adults should check with their doctors about whether they should get the blood test and the vaccine. It's especially important to know your immunity status if getting chickenpox would be dangerous, such as if you are planning to become pregnant.

· Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine: Adults born after 1956 should get at least one dose of measles vaccine and mumps vaccine (usually combined as MMR). Certain groups such as students and health workers should get at least two doses of the measles vaccine. One dose of rubella-containing vaccine should be given to women of child-bearing age who don't have a clear history of vaccination or immunity.

· Hepatitis A vaccine: People with certain chronic illnesses or risk factors should consider hepatitis A immunization. This includes people with chronic liver disease, hemophiliacs, homosexual men, and intravenous drug users.

· Hepatitis B vaccine: People with certain chronic illnesses (such as chronic liver disease and chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis), and people at a high risk of exposure (such as health care workers, close contacts of people infected with hepatitis B, and sexually active people with multiple partners), should get immunized against hepatitis B infection.

· HPV: This vaccine against the human papillomavirus that causes cervical cancer is recommended for all women younger than 26 years old.

· Meningococcal vaccine: To protect against one type of meningitis, students, military recruits, and people with an impaired immune system (especially those who have had their spleen removed) should get this vaccine.

Juice Beauty Review/Giveaway--Closed

I received the cleansing milk from Juice Beauty to review. I let my mom use this from the moment I got this which was fast in the mail. My mother in law used this for a couple weeks instead of her regular facial cleansers and saw a major difference. First my mother in law has very sensitive skin and can't use just anything especially since a lot of things cause her face to be red and blotchy. With this it is so gentle on her skin that it never dried her skin out or made it blotchy at all. Her skin was nice and soft after uses of this and any makeup she wore that day came off very well leaving her pours nice and clean. This is a milky like lotion not as much of a lather base which makes it less drying and less striping of the oils in your skin which is good when my mother in law already has dry skin. Vitalicious Review/Giveaway--Closed

I received a box off all kinds of vita tops and brownies from Vitalicious to review. I was glad to give this a try for me and my family because they sound like they are good for you plus their not loaded down with a lot of calories which my mother in law and wife like. As far as the brownies they were the first to get tried through my house hold and you couldn't tell one bit that these were good for you, they tasted so good was almost like a guilty pleasure with lots of calories but not with these tasty brownies. As far as the vita tops we did exactly what the box told us when we got them and put them in the freezer only taking them out to put on a plate and pop in the microwave heat up and enjoy. Pets By CSN Review

I received the Ethical Pet Metro Ceramic Double Diner in Red & Pet Gear Sport Pet Carrier in Misty Blue from Pets By CSN which is one of CSN Stores to review. We have been wanting to get a carrier for our cats especially to take them to the vet and such. We have a box carrier but it was originally for a small dog so it is easy to shake them around in it which is not what we wanted to do. So we got this in the mail pretty fast like most items from CSN Stores and my wife put our cat Libby in it and she fit a little snug which was great cause that means she won't be thrown around while moving. My wife and I agree with the leash holder connection inside prevents your cat or small dog from jumping out when you open it, also the mesh on both sides and front keeps your animal from overheating and still being able to see everything that is going on. Now this pet carrier is only good for a small dog or cat because as you can see in the picture our cat fit perfectly snug. We decided to get a nice bowl set for our cat Libby that was cute and perfect just for her water and food. These are great little dishes and are easy to clean up fit nicely in the stand and heavy enough your cat or dog can't move them easily. Also we got this for our cat but the size is a difference this was meant more for a dog just know if you get one for your cat its perfect height and all but just a bigger dish.
